Earl Hockin

Earl Hockin has been a teacher and administrator in a number of secondary schools including in Australia.  He has been practicing the principles of Restitution in his personal and professional life for the last 12 years.  He has been involved in implementing these ideas in 2 different schools. He has taught the concepts and skills to teachers and administrators in several other schools, both secondary and elementary.  He has also taught the concepts to parent groups. He also teaches Internal Control Theory and Responsible Decision Making.  He has been a staff developer for two years and thus is knowledgeable about current pedagogical research and where appropriate connects the ideas of Restitution to current knowledge about learning and assessment. He is currently Assistant Superintendent in a small
rural district.  His presentations include examples from the schools where he has worked.
