Cathy Mulvey

As a teacher in the Spencer-Van Etten School District, I have had the opportunity to continue my professional growth as a participant in a variety of workshops and in-services. I have also worked with our district planning team as we strive to improve the quality of our district’s whole educational experience. Using a result-driven process, I have enjoyed serving as a facilitator and consultant during Choice Theory, Restitution, Covey Leadership, aligning instruction, Kagan Cooperative Learning, Curriculum-based Assessment/Instruction, and ODDM (Outcomes Driven Developmental Model) workshops and in-services. When given the opportunity to talk with a child about being the person she wants to be, I know it is going to be a wonderful learning opportunity for me, too. I love this elementary school classroom. I believe all children can learn well; therefore, I am continuously seeking knowledge, experience, and opportunities that will help me create the conditions for a quality learning environment.
